I attended the Global Innovations in Cylinder Sealing presentation by Anupa Shah at the Milwuakee, WI installment of the Fluid Power Conference & Expo.

This was a very well-presented session that covered some basic, but critical considerations for cylinder sealing in hydraulic applications.

One of the interesting and proprietary topics covered was about their Guivex wear band that had a unique design for cylinders experiencing lateral stresses. I spoke with Anupa following her session about this and really learned about how this design is important.
