The date and place are set for the 2006 Fluid Power Expo. It will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cleveland on October 3-4, 2006.

Once again, the focus will be on fluid power education with 16 to 24 seminars being scheduled to provide fluid power engineers with information that is helpful to them in the design of fluid power systems as well as in the area of best maintenance practices.

Your input on the topics that would be best as we put the program together would be helpful. Feel free to post here or contact me at mference@penton.com with your ideas.

Our intention is to provide engineers with an expo of fluid power information, products, and conversations that will help them on the job. We would love to hear from you on this topic.

Thanks,

Michael Ference

On October 3-4, 2006 the Fluid Power Expo will be held in Cleveland at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. It will feature 18-20 very informative fluid power seminars and an exhibit hall with 35 fluid power exhibitors. In our constant effort to promote fluid power technology, this event will present information of the same level as our monthly magazine, Hydraulics & Pneumaticsand our e-media products.
All are welcome who are interested in fluid power, still the best design choice. There is a $49 one-fee-covers-all including lunch and seminars.
To register in advance, please go to http://www.fluidpowerexpo.com/

A great deal of interest has been shown for the technical sessions being presented at this year's Fluid Power Expo. All of the sessions have been very well attended reflecting the timeliness and correct focus of the topics and presentations.

The next event is scheduled for Tampa in May 2007. I would appreciate hearing from you on your thoughts and understanding of the fluid power market in Florida.

Yes, attendence has been excellent, and everyone I have spoken with here at the Expo is impressed with the range of topics and the presenters. The buzz on the Tampa Expo next spring has been high, and I, too, am interested to hear thoughts on the market there, and how we can best get people involved.

Overall, the 2006 Fluid Power Expo was a big success. The technical seminar sessions were very well attended with interested, technically competent people who gained insight and information on several areas of fluid power technology.

If you attended, let us know your thoughts on this year's event.
