Fluid power components, systems, subsystems, and related products flow through channels of distribution that are intertwined. Manufacturers sell their products through distribution but in some cases directly to OEM users. Distributors buy and redistribute products from manufacturers to sell to their end use customers but sometimes they need to buy from other sources and perhaps even other distributors.
In other words, there are many different means for getting products to the end users. Sales individuals represent both manufacturers and distributors who in turn represent manufacturers. In any case, all of these individuals need to be informed about what products are available for their customers and they need to know how fluid power technology works. They need to be kept up to date on the latest developments that make fluid power technology the right design choice for their customers.
Hydraulics & Pneumatics magazine has been in business for over 60 years and remains an excellent source of technical and product information. However, it is targeted to the end-use, designer or maintenance experts who actually use the products written about and advertised. Our qualified reader is actually the customer or prospective customer of the manufacturer or distributor sales representative and the sales professional either pays for a subscription or borrows a copy.
We now have the means for getting the great information found in H&P into the hands of sales professionals and it is free. Fluid Power Supply Channel digital magazine is intended for the usage of sales professionals involved in fluid power. If you will take the time to have your sales people fill out the subscription form, we will be happy to send them the new publication. In 2008, we plan to publish two issues, one in July and one in December and then increase the frequency in 2009. If you have any questions, please give us a call.
