Hi,

I am in my final semester of Mechatronics Engineering (will be graduating in May, 2009) at the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, and I am looking for employment after graduation. The reason I’m posting on this forum is because I am interested in working in fluid power upon graduation. Already in my undergraduate career I have gained two years of experience in fluid power through co-op work placements and academic projects. I served two co-op terms working at Husky Injection Molding Systems (a designer and manufacturer of plastic injection molding machines) as a fluid power designer, and I’m doing my final year design project on the design, fabrication, and control of a modular electro-hydraulic snake-arm robot (you may visit http://www.eng.uwaterloo.ca/~aalnaif/ for more information on this project). I also have a strong academic background in controls which can be applied to closed loop fluid power systems. I have taken courses in analog, digital, and advanced (multi-variable) controls.

I have dual US/Canadian citizenship, and so I am eligible to work in both US and Canada.
