Hi Nitesh --

I'd be interested in your general thoughts on the Indian fluid power market, too. We're working on growing the digital circulation of our magazine there. Where to most end users of fluid power components get their information? Are there particular magazines or websites they use to get info? Do they rely on local distributors or manufacturers for some of their data gathering?

Hi Nitesh,

I am interested to know the following information for my market survey.

1) What is the Size of the total Hydraulics Market Size.
2) What is the split betweek Industrial and Mobile Hydraulics.
3) Is the market underserved?. i.e is there a dependency on foreign suppliers for major companents such as Accumulators, pumps, filters, oil coolers etc..
4) Is there a specific area or region in India where Fluid Power Manufacturers or Industry is concentrated. (Eg: My priliminary research shows major players in the market are in Bombay, Hyderabad or Bangalore.)
5) ) Are there any publications or magazines that are published in India that focus on the Hydraulic Market.

Lastly, would you be interested in sharing your contact information so I can get in touch with you to find more details about the Indian market.

Appreciate your time and effort. Smiler

Thank you for sharing the information Nitesh. I am researching more specifically Accumulator(Bladder,Piston & Diaphragm) market and also Oil Cooler(Air/Oil 7 Water/Oil) market.

I noticed from my brief research on the WEB, there are no domestic manufacturers but almost all the global palyers have subsideries or alliance with some local companies. Do you have any detailed information on the Accumulator/cooler market and if there are any manufacturers for the parts such as pressure vessels and bladders for accumulators?.

I will be vising India first week of June. If you are in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad or Mumbai, I would like to meet with you.

Thanks

Surabh,
Indian market for hydraulics is growing at the rate of 15-20% on year on year basis for last 3 years, and expected to grow at the rate of more than 20% in coming years. At present there are 6-7 major players dominating Indian market, and almost all the MNC's have presence here, notably Eaton-Vickers,Rexroth,Yuken,Parker etc. Indian companies are Wipro Fluidpower, UT pumps etc.6-70% of market share is with MNC's and Rexroth is enjoying max. market share.
regards,

Nitesh

Hi Nithesh I am an equity analyst. I am lookng for certian information about hydrualic gears valves and pumps in India. I need information like

Major players in mobile hydraulics & market size of mobile hydraulics.

User industries for these prodcuts.

Can you give a broad classification for all hydaulics on some parameters like maximum or critical usage and sub-classification for mobile hydraulics. Prefereably based on user segments like auto, construction equipment, machine tools, marine, etc. Otherwise how would you classify a hydaulic gear pump under the broad category of bydraulics.

Does turbo-charger compressor housing falls under mobile hydraulics category.

What is the application of water pumps and oil pumps. What is market size of these two products. Who are the major players.
