Mr. Norman Kronowitz of the Systems Group - Applications Engineering for CMA/Flodyne/Hydradyne is apparently the author of an online presentation titled "Drive for Technology Hydraulic Safety Considerations." His presentation has a section titled "Misconceptions about Hydraulic Systems and Stored Energy."
Users of this free download please be advised that I am alleging that Mr. Kronowitz plagiarized the aforementioned part of his presentation from my company Safe-T-Bleed without giving me or my company the courtesy of credit.
You will find the original author's (Rory S. McLaren) article on pages 5, 6, and 7 of the Safe-T-Bleed catalogue reference number STB-PC-1201-1.
I brought the matter to the the attention of the management of the subject company. However they chose to ignore me.
Mr. Kronowitz did however give me credit for the hand picture (Fluid Power Safety Institute)in his article - I thank him for that!
I respectfully request that if you use Mr. Kronowitz's presentation, you give me and my organization credit for the section on "Misconceptions about Hydraulic Systems and Stored Energy."
Respectfully,
Rory S. McLaren

He certainly was fair Rory. Yours was not the only information he plagarized. The Accumulator circuits are copies from the Accumu;ator section of my "Fluid Power Circuits Explained" book I wrote to teach an advanced class for anyone who had attended a Basic Fluid Power class.
His work reminds me of some presentatios I made at Sales Meetings in my younger years. Fortunately those presentations were not for publication so I never got any threats from the authors.
Actually I think it speaks highly of our work that someone reads it and thinks enough of it to use in their presentation.
I'm not sure about your books, but, mine have not been a good return on the investment I made writing them. Seems that is par for the course when it comes to most things related to Fluid Power literature. Not enoug persons using the equipment on any regular basis so they depend on their Fluid Power Distributor Salesman to design the circuits and have that same company install the parts in many instances.
That's the way Fluid Power has operated for the 50 years I've been involved in it and from feedback on this Forum and others I don't see any changes in te Near or Distant Future.
