Can anyone tell me who the maker of this pump is and what the GPM is? It has these two numbers on it 15017050&66890C. It came with an old Heil dump truck body Mod# 07.580758L,Ser.# W31023. I've been told that Heil made their own pumps at one time, but they have no info on this.
Thanks Rick. [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG] |

he three big Mobile Gear Pump manufacturers in the states are Gresen,, recently bought by Parker, Muncie and Permco. They all have Dump Bed Pumps. You can find links to thier web sites on the Home Page of this forum at the "Designers Guide" Link. Their may be others but I am not familiar with them. Looking at their catalogs may show a similar pump design to the one you have.
Heil may not have made the pump but only had another company Private Brand one for them. That way you had to go back to Heil for parts or replacements. The reason most give for that setup is so they can keep track of problems with equipment since they know if a part is failing more than they think it should. Tha way they can determine if their supplier is the problem or if they have mis-applied the product. Bud Trinkel FP Consultant Retired "Fame is a vapor, popularity an accident, riches take wings.
