Has anyone seen or heard of a valve that will sense the speed of a rotating shaft and switch when a specific speed is met? Kind of like a centrifugal switch for electric motors...

Fenner air motors group made a load sensing valve that sensed hydraulic load or pressure generated by a hyd. pump coupled to the air motor driver. It modulated the air input to the air motor that slowed down the air drive inlet to air motor if the load was low to eliminate the air motor winding up to too high of RPM's.
See if they still have it if that is what you had in mind.
