Why we are using adjustable back pressure valvesin the gear pump?. Usually we use adjustable back pressure valves only in the gas phase lines. how can we this valve in the liquid line? Y it is used for?

Do you have a schematic of how the "back pressure valve" is installed, applied, connected, piped in the circuit?

Without more information your question is so wide open that only guesses can be offered, at least by tis poster.
