The pump came with a shaft for direct drive and also has a pulley. It has two outputs different sizes. I hope to use it on my offroad rig. I'll use one output for the steering and the other for the winches.

Any info appreciated.

I can only guess.
It is an old Plessy Gear Pump with incorperated
preiority flow control and relief valve. To my
opinion you CAN NOT use it as you wish. What you
need is a pump with a priority flow control where
the entire flow is directed to a secondery port
and not back to suction or tank port as it seems to be.

I don't know anything about plessaey, but It looks to me that the relief dupms to the suction side (not a good thing, be sure not to run across relief for more than a few seconds), the smaller outlet should be the regulated priority flow such as a steering application, the larger port should be the 'everything else port'. You should be able to do what you want with it, but I couldn't say for sure without looking at the pump.

hello,

yes it is a steering pump, priority flow and relief valve. It could be an Ultra or KYB pump.

Regards
