If you feel you can teach, try offering Fluid Power courses to local companies or at a meeting place such as a Motel or School campus. The Motel and school classes can be in the evenings and allow you to get your feet wet while working and paying the bills.

Though these classes you meet a lot of people from industry and when they find you are knowledgeable some will be contacting you for trouble shooting, circuit upgrades and circuit design.

You can see some chapters from a generic book I use to teach basics at http://www.hydraulicspneumatics.com/200/eBooks/.

It is not assoiated with any manufacturer so it fits well with students from multiple comanies.

Calgary and Edmonton are both hot beds for oilfield equipment. A good way to get your foot in the door would be to bid on component assembly as a sub contractor. What specifically are your targeting?

Well I have good on-hand experience in Hydraulic pumps, valves, winches etc assembly, service, troubleshooting, calculations, good in understanding schematics. Being CFPHS & P.Eng (Mechanical Engineer) wants to start as FRENCHISE with someone or where I don't have to invest too much initially however start earning slowly. Don't mind be in Field with Hands dirty.
Please give more details about assembly sub-contract idea or something else?
Thanks
