Hi,
Would I have a problem if I used galvanized square tubing to build a hydraulic tank?
Thanks
Rick.

Not as longas you are sure the Galvanize cannot flake off. Some of the training books advise against using Galvanied pipe for that reason even though the Galvinize is only supposed to be on the outside.

Had a Galvanized Street Ell on a circuit at a customer that was almost plugged with the Galvanizing material. It slowed the particular cylinder almost to stop speed.
