I HAVE A HOME MADE LOG SPLITTER THAT HAS NO POWER THE RAM MOVES IN AND OUT FINE BUT AS SOON AS IT HITS THE WOOD NOTHING. THE MOTOR DOES NOT STALL, BUT NOT ENOUGH PRESSURE. THE PISTON IS A 3" WITH A 1-1/2" BORE AND THE MOTOR IS A 11HP HONDA THAT TURNS 3600 RPMS AND THE PUMP IS A HALDEX 2 STAGE THAT HANDLES 3600RPM'S. THERE ARE GAUGES ON BOTH SIDES OF THE PISTON, IN THE FOWARD MOTION I GET ABOUT 500LBS AT FULL STROKE AND IN RETRACT I GET ABOUT 1000-1500LBS. I TRIED BLEEDING THE LINES THE TANK HAS ENOUGH FLUID. IS THERE AN ADJUSTMENT ON THE PUMP OR LEVER CONTROL THAT MIGHT BE DUMPING IN BYPASS MODE? OR IS THE CYCLINDER IN NEED OF A REBUILD? I WOULD LIKE TO TEST THE PISTON BEFORE I TAKE IT OFF AND SEND IT OUT.

ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED
THANKS
