Does any one have good rules of tumb for setting the acceleration/deceleration jerks in motion control applications.

Adjust pump flow increase and decrease at a rate that reduces or stops acceleatio/deceleation jerks.

That is the best answer I can thiink of for the question as written.

Maybe Peter can come up with some good rule of thumb for yor question. He is the main Motion Control Guru on the forum.
