Hi all..!

I will like to ask a question regarding hydraulic trasmission for vehicles...

I will like to build a bike with an internal explosion engine, to be precisse its going to be an old ford V8 flathead 60 hp @ 3500 rpm and 94 lbs @ 2500 rpm of torque

Well, I was thinking the other day, as a bulldozer was passing by (jeje) if it's possible to put an Hydraulic pump at the engine, and an hydraulic motor to pull the chain of the bike...??

What you think? I´m not looking for great performace...but a good drive...

As a note for this, searching the web, I found that Yamaha release a pure race motocross with 2 wheel drive, the front one is moved by a hydraulic motor...!!

Well...hope you point me in the right direcction..!

thanks very much in advance
